After a short talk about baptism, we celebrated a number of people who made their faith "public" by identifying themselves with Jesus through baptism. What a celebration!!! We also had some spontaneous decisions by people to identify themselves to Jesus!

In this sermon, pastor Luke looked to Luke 7 as a model where Jesus used meals to build and maintain community. Jesus' scandalous grace looked past the outward appearances of people and saw them for who they were -- created in God's image and in need of a Savior.
