In this sermon, pastor Luke shared why Baptism and Communion are so important in the Vineyard! Looking to a variety of Scriptures, we worked toward a definition of both of these sacraments and explored how they function as anchors for our faith.

Jesus was baptized as He identified himself with the sins of his people; his followers are baptized in order to identify themselves to him! In this short sermon, pastor Luke explores the implications of the meaning of baptism before we baptized eight people!

We spent a few minutes looking at the story of the Ethiopian Eunuch and then celebrated alongside four people who decided to get baptized! 

After a short talk about baptism, we celebrated a number of people who made their faith "public" by identifying themselves with Jesus through baptism. What a celebration!!! We also had some spontaneous decisions by people to identify themselves to Jesus!
