Becoming, Being, & Birthing the Children of God (John 1:1-13)

Building on John 1:1-13's emphasis on becoming God's children, pastor Luke shared a message on the stages of Christian discipleship through the lens of Adoption -- "Becoming, Being, and Birthing God's Children." 

Spiritual Gifts: God's Grace Going Public

As we consider discipling our city, we need to grow in our ability to, as John Wimber said, "do the stuff." In this sermon, pastor Luke looked at 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 and the subject of spiritual gifts.

Finishing up our series, "Speaking of Jesus," pastor Luke had us look at 2 Corinthians 5:11-21. The Vineyard is "controlled" by love and represent Jesus and the kingdom. (We apologize for the sound quality. It should be fixed this coming week!).

Building on 1 Peter 4, pastor Luke discussed four qualities that we seek to have at the Vineyard: love, hospitality, serving, and worship.

Kicking off a three week series talking about the direction we're taking, pastor Luke built on the Great Commission (Matt. 28:16-20) and considered the big things God is calling us too. Plus, we made an announcement about what's coming Easter weekend!
