The Parable of the Bad Farmer

Preaching from Matt. 13:1-23, pastor Luke taught on why Jesus used parables (stories) and how this story focused on the Sower, the Seed, and the Soil. This passage challenges us to consider what type of "soil" our heart is but also challenges us to think about what type of farmer Jesus is!

In this sermon, pastor Luke showed the connection between the Holy Spirit and prayer, as well as spent time talking about how the prayer expressions that introverts and extroverts tend to express can be empowered by the Spirit and that both intimate and outward focused prayer are needed.
