Continuing our series on vision for 2018, pastor Wes shared why goals are important and what goals we have for this coming year! 

Vision Map (Connecting)

In Ephesians 2:13, we read that God brings near those who are far off... and the reality is that God does this through his church. In this sermon, pastor Luke explored how people generally connect into a community through the various "links" in a chain. 

Vision Map (Developing)

Last week we talked about God asking us to dream big because our best days are ahead of us. In the second sermon in our series, Vision Map, we looked at the development of the church in Ephesus as a model for us. After all, we have to realize that there are practical things we can do that actually empower us to both dream big and reach those dreams! If we want to be a church that continues to carry out our mission of knowing Jesus and making him known, we must continue to develop! 

Vision Map (Growing)

In the mid 1800's, a group of people known as "The Donner Party" made their way from the east toward California. Ignoring the wisdom of maps and experienced travellers, the group attempted to take a short cut and travel during the winter, leading to tragedy. Without a good map, we're liable to experience many of the same challenges! In this sermon, pastor Luke shared vision for the future of the Vineyard in 2018 and where the leadership senses the Lord leading!

Unity of the Faith: Thoughts on My Participation in the Evangelical - Catholic Dialogue

For three days, pastor Luke spent time participating in the Evangelical-Catholic Dialogue at the Univeristy of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. In this sermon, Luke shares some thoughts on how the Vineyard can continue to both value and pursue Church unity with other denominations, while also maintaining a commitment to our theology, values, and distinctives. 

All You Need is Love (John 13:31-35)

Jesus, as he prepared his disciples for his crucifixion, told them to love each other as he loved. In this sermon, pastor Luke explored what it means to love and how Jesus demonstrated love during his ministry. 

Jesus Interrupted: Inconvenienced by Grace

Have you ever noticed that throughout the Gospels, Jesus is constantly being interrupted by people? In this sermon, pastor Luke looked at how Jesus lived his life always seeing interruptions and inconveniences as opportunities to glorify his heavenly Father and to extend grace to people.

Thoughts Toward being a Community that Connects People

During the 11am service, pastor Luke shared some thoughts on being more intentional to invite and welcome people, based on applying Romans 15:7.

Building on 1 Peter 4, pastor Luke discussed four qualities that we seek to have at the Vineyard: love, hospitality, serving, and worship.
