Finishing up our sermon series, Surprised by Scripture, pastor Luke began with some thoughts about how we should approach the Bible and then provided an overview of the New Testament. 

Continuing our sermon series about the Bible, this sermon covered the Old Testament. We learned about several themes from the Old Testament and how our English (and Spanish) Bibles are categorized into five different types of writings. 

We live in a culture that has increasingly become less engaged with the Bible and there are many questions about what the Bible is and can it be trusted. In this sermon, pastor Luke starts off our series, Surprised by Scripture, and answers a number of questions: What are the challenges to reading and understanding the Bible? What is the Bible? How should we approach the Bible? Our primary text was 2 Timothy 3:14-17.
