In the final sermon for our series, Clash of the Kingdoms, the Northwest Regional Leader, Rose Swetman, shared a powerful message on how Jesus has defeated the kingdom of darkness! Building on important passages of Scripture and a powerful personal story, this was a great message!
In part three of our sermon series on spiritual warfare, pastor Luke reminded us that the Vineyard is a theological movement grounded on the theology of the kingdom of God, a kingdom which breaks into our lives and pushes back against the kingdom of darkness. Building on this reality, we looked at five ways that the Church, the collective community of the kingdom, can continue to defeat the kingdom of darkness.
In Ephesians 3, the Apostle Paul prayed that the Church would know the depth of God's love and that experience would serve as a resource for the church's spiritual struggle with the attacks of the enemy. In this sermon, pastor Luke shared about how our identity as as people loved by God pushes back against the kingdom of darkness.
Spiritual Warfare is used to describe the ministry of Jesus and the work of the Church. In this sermon, pastor Luke spent time looking at Ephesians 6 and Colossians 2 to help us understand what spiritual warfare is.
