For the last Sunday of 2019, pastor Luke spent some time sharing about the importance of continuing to seek after God (Heb. 11:6) and then shared things to thank God for this past year as well as things to consider going into the future.
Looking to 1 Timothy 3:16, pastor Luke explored how the mystery of our faith centers on the life of Jesus. The Incarnation, God becoming human, is a significant and rich theological reality that we celebrate every Advent! And one of the great ways to celebrate Advent is to feast around both the Lord's Table but also our own dining room tables!
Looking at John 1:1-17, pastor Luke shared how the Incarnation is a model for how we are to live our lives being present to the world around us. As we become proximate, generous, and advocates for our community, God's kingdom breaks into the lives of our neighbors!
