The church is a space where people are supposed to be growing and being shaped and formed to become more like Jesus, more mature and more connected to God and each other and more engaged in God’s mission of helping the world know Jesus. This is how the early church was organized and reorganized! In this sermon, pastor Luke explored the types of characteristics that are important for a church to be able to encourage growth.

In Matt. 16:18, Jesus said that he would build his Church. The Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians that church leaders would equip the Church to build the Church.
In this sermon, pastor Luke talked about how a beautiful metaphor for the Church is that of a ship, yet the ship is a missional ship and it's navigating toward the Kingdom.
